The ABUS MoDrop MIPS can handle any terrain, and any riding style.

The MoDrop is made for epic back country adventures or days riding the local trails. Equipped with our ZoomAce MTB adjustment system and TriVider helmet straps, this helmet offers many features that make you forget you are even wearing a helmet. The height-adjustable visor protects you from hanging branches and varying light conditions you might encounter when on the trails. The inclusion of MIPS adds an additional layer of protection in the event of a crash.

Lower edge protection: polycarbonate (PC) outer shell covers the lower edge of the helmet and protects against scratches, impacts and signs of wear and tear

Ponytail Fit: thanks to the opening in the height-adjustable adjustment system, the helmet is also suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns, or braids

Mips layer: thin plastic shell located between the inner padding and the energy-absorbing shell of the helmet to counteract rotational forces in the event of a fall

Reflector Sticker: for better visibility in the dark
Height-adjustable peak: the position of the peak can be adjusted thanks to locking positions to provide optimum protection from hanging branches and sunlight

Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: rotary wheel at the back of the head for individual adjustment of the helmet to the head size
Trivider™: particularly flat divider with fixed positioning of the straps to prevent unintentional adjustment

Comfort Pads: soft padded inserts for optimum comfort, attached to the helmet with Velcro

Removable, washable pads: can be removed and washed by hand or replaced if necessary

Push-in buckle: for safe and practical handling, the straps are fitted with a classic chin lock (three-pronged connection) for opening and closing

In-mould process: production process in which the inner cushioning material made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) is foamed directly into the outer shell made of polycarbonate (PC) – this creates a durable and robust connection
